flash systray icon

Hi, I'm trying to make the systray icon flash when an event triggers
the notify events. Sure enough, the taskbar button flashes, but I'm a
desktop space fan and I would like to be able to minimize it to the
systray for space reasons.

How did you get the taskbar button to flash? I'd like to be notified
when there is new information in the forum but haven't been able to
figure this out.....advice gratefully received.....

With hilite2.vsc loaded, I did:
/timer bleh 10 1 /flashcolortab
then went to another window. After 10 seconds, it flashed the taskbar
button.

I don't know the programming behind hilite2.vsc and flashcolortab, but
I hope this helps you.
