I have just tried to go in to my email settings, but all the accounts, and the add account, are showing up as dimmed. I can't get in to edit any settings etc. Also, when I'm in settings, my twiter and i-cloud settings are showing up as dimmed. At first, I thought it was just voiceover, and that maybe it would let me double tap and enter these things, but no. I've ended everything in app switcher, and I've restarted the phone, but I still can't get access. I don't know what to do.
I am using a 4S with 5.1.1. Has anyone ever seenthis before? Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Subject: problem with mail settings
Hello everyone,
I realy hope someone can help me please.
I have just tried to go in to my email settings, but all the accounts, and
the add account, are showing up as dimmed. I can't get in to edit any
settings etc. Also, when I'm in settings, my twiter and i-cloud settings are
showing up as dimmed. At first, I thought it was just voiceover, and that
maybe it would let me double tap and enter these things, but no. I've ended
everything in app switcher, and I've restarted the phone, but I still can't
get access. I don't know what to do.
I am using a 4S with 5.1.1. Has anyone ever seenthis before? Does anyone
have any ideas for me?
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
Danielle

Hi Danielle, I'm just guessing here, but did you set up any
restrictions under Settings, General, Restrictions? You can prevent
certain settings, such as mail accounts or location settings, from
being altered by setting up restrictions. Take a look there and see if
you've disabled anything. (If you have, you'll need to know the
restrictions PIN that's set up."
The only other scenario I can think of is if your iPhone was issued
through work and has a profile that is blocking these settings from
being removed. If you look under Settings, General and see a Profiles
section, then this could be the case; if you don't see a Profiles
section at all, then this shouldn't be the case.
So check those two places and then let us know.
Cheers,
Grant
