Did any of you notice this? When in call display disconnects and reconnects immediatly after call ended.
Sent a note to apple but was curious if this is commun.

This happens also if my Euro braille is connected and I thought it was normal behaviour as it's always done that since I've had a braille display with my various I Phones.' On 22 Apr 2012, at 02:41 PM, Ioana Gandrabur <igandra...@gmail.com> wrote:

Yes, all displays disconnect whenever the proximity sensor is activated disabling the touch-screen. If you take the phone away from your face and it switches to speakerphone, the braille display should reconnect. I suspect the behaviour is the same with a bluetooth qwerty keyboard.

I can confirm this - have emailed Apple about it so they are aware. one way around it is to use a head set, either bluetooth or wired, so when on a call you can continue to use your braille display to drive the phone for taking notes or whatever.

Just so everyone is aware, this is normal behaviour, not a bug. When the proximity sensor activates, all input is blocked from the iPhone. The proximity sensor disables the touch-screen. When the headphone is plugged in, or when the iPhone is on speakerphone so away from your face, the touch-screen works and so do the braille displays.
