One thing I've noticed when either using my Focus 40 Blue or the Apple Bluetooth keyboard is that when, in an edit field, the on-screen virtual keyboard is not displayed. I suppose this is understandable, right?
The problem is that I do not know how to get the on-screen keyboard to reappear; that is to say, I cannot get the virtual keyboard to be displayed at the same time as the hardware keyboard is being used.
I seem to remember someone posting that there is a way to make this happen or something similar to it.
Is there a way to make this happen?
Also, in the past, I remember that if one used the Apple Bluetooth keyboard, then powered it off, one had to either turn off the Bluetooth receiver or restart the phone in order to get the virtual keyboard to reappear in text edit fields or that is what I thought then I saw some kind of post about how to circumvent this issue.

Hi Mark,
Use dots 1-4-6-chord to toggle the virtual keyboard from the Braille display.

Hi, Don't know about Apple keyboard, but using a braille display, one can press SPACE with 1-4-6 to toggle the on-screen keyboard. Cheers, Joseph

I don't know about that, but I basically went into keyboard help with dots 1-3-chord and pressed various key combinations. Then I pressed dots 1-2-chord to exit keyboard help.
I know that someone else posted a list of them on a site. It's in the archives for this list, most likely.
