Subject: Very good accessible translation app - SayHi

Hello list,

I wanted to recommend an app I grabbed yesterday called SayHi. It's a
language translation app and works quite well and is very impressive with
its accuracy. Buttons are labeled and it over all works well with VO. I've
only come across two issues where VO speech can go silent from time to time.
I don't think that this is the typical Vo silencing that is experienced from
time to time in all the other apps because when escaping out of the app with
the home button speech comes right back. The other issue is where one would
read the text of translated phrases or words, VO says translated from
language x to language x. My sighted wife says that the words to appear
visually. I have written the developer about these two issues. I would
encourage others if they end up getting this app to do the same. You can
click on the phrase to be spoken if you need to hear it again.

It was on sale at the time I bought it for 99 cents, but I don't know if
that's still the case. Nevertheless it is a very good app and worth the
dollar or two or three or whatever it normally costs.

The website where one can check it out is: http://www.sayhitranslate.com/
