Subject: Documentation for speakup?
Can anyone point me at any documentation for or a quick start for Speakup? I have been looking for one but so far this has eluded me.
Thanks
Frank

Hi,
Very quick start:
While in speakup, press the speakup key and f1.
That is speakup's built-in help.
The speakup key is one of several like the key between the control and alt
keys as well as the capslock key.
Just use one of these.
There is a speakup user manual on its web site.

On your desktop you probably have a link to keyboard shortcuts file and in this there are all, or at least most of the speakup keystrokes.
Vinux pretty much just works, so other than saving your prefs with
speakupconf save once things work as you like  as far as speech rate tone and such and speakupconf load to recall these you are probably OK.
There's of course lots more that can be done. I don't think the manual is included in Vinux, but if you google it you can download or read online.
I think the url to get close is just called speakup.org, but if that doesn't work google for speakup manual.
