Hey folks,
I am currently working on updating the accessibility stack to the latest possible versions. This means that the atk library, and at-spi will be updated to newer versions, hopefully all 2.8. Orca will be updated to 3.6 in due course. Unfortunately without python 3.3, we cannot ship Orca 3.8. We could ship python 3.3 if there was enough space on the CD image, but there currently isn't, and there is little chance there will be by release time.

This work is starting to make its way into the precise-proposed PPA for Vinux, so please keep a lookout for any issues you encounter whilst using Vinux 4. Note that this will only affect you if you have the precise-proposed PPA enabled on your system.

Thanks

Luke

Some more of this work has just been completed. You should see new libatk-adaptor packages, and a new GTK 3 package get updated from the precise-proposed PPA.

The beautiful upshot of these updates, is that the USB startup disk creator should now be accessible with Orca, so once again, you can use USB creator to prepare USB drives with Vinux or Ubuntu isos.
