Hello Historic drivers,

Just a note to let you all know that we are looking a few more
Historic cars to round out the Historic class of our upcoming November
1st, Economy Run IV Road Rally. Bruce Turk and Jonathan Bartlett will
be bringing out their early classic Saabs to run with us in the cool,
crisp, fall air. As long as it will be a dry day, why not come out and
join us for a 108 mile scenic ride through Montgomery, Schoharie, and
Schenectady counties of NY? The route will be on very scenic and less
travelled roads, and will run approximately 108 miles in distance.
Your “economic” driving ability will be tested. Cars will be filled
with fuel by an AMEC official and be sent off at one minute intervals.

The start and finish will be at the Fairway Oil gas station on Route 5
in Fonda, NY. The physical address is 40 E Main St, Fonda, NY 12068

Lunch and awards will be at Checkers Out Speedway go kart track, the
same place as last October's Economy Run II. They have great food
there, very reasonably priced too. And of course the optional indoor
go kart races after lunch if you'd like. Last year it was a prime rib
special for $9.95. Checkers Out Speedway is just 6 miles away from our
start/finish location at Fairway Oil. Their physical address is: 2299
State Hwy 30A Johnstown, NY 12905.

The entry fee will once again be just $10 per car to cover the cost of
the awards.
