vim/vimdiff color problem solved

People,

With some help I finally worked out what was going on with the color
problem in vim and vimdiff - I found I was using 16 colors and had to
use: "set t_Co=256". I had previously been using F8 and Konsole which
worked fine but I have now installed F9 and there were too many changes
to dcop which broke all my scripts for setting up multi-tab terminals so
I changed to mrxvt which showed up the color problem . .
