absolute paths in quickfix window

Is there a way to get the quickfix window to display absolute paths
instead of relative?

Which command are you using to create the quickfix errorfile? ":make"?
":grep"? ":vimgrep"? ":helpgrep"? Other?

Doesn't the QF window display the paths the way they appear in the
output of whatever created the QF errorfile?
