which-function-mode ala emacs

Is there a plugin out there that shows what function you are in on the
status line? Or is there an "easy" way to do that?

I use StlShowFunc for this; see

If you get the "taglist" plugin, there is a function provided to
accomplish this, and an example in :help taglist-session to set it up.

Open up :help taglist.txt and search for /status\_s*line to find all
mentions of it.
