FInk definitely has git.  That's how I installed it.  In general I'm
impressed with fink - not for the bleeding edge nature of the
packages, but because things just seem to work well and are tested.

I tried MacPorts years ago - so I don't have any idea how good it is these days.

But fink does have git.
