Thanks for the reminder. I hate saying this but having gone through
their application process and documentation, I don't feel confident
applying for a spot for the Village Telco this year. We are all
stretched a little bit too thin at the moment. We need more time and
more people involved to be able to create the ecology of mentorship

You're welcome to participate, for sure. Just take what you see not done
and, announce that you're taking that (sub-)task to the mailing list and start
hacking. We'll also keep posting when we have any progress. I haven't
