In a couple of years Wimax is going to take a substantial market share
of wireless broadband access worldwide.

Do you anticipate regulatory challenges regarding spectrum allocation
e.tc because of competition from licensed, commercial Wimax giants
that can see Mesh potatoes as a threat to their business?

you're a rather late, or possibly a little early for april 1st !

Wimax is dead and burried, period.

two things go against it :

1) the fact that you need a license to operate the thing
As a corollary, the price of each base station is prohibitive
(considering only licensed operators can actually make use of bought
hardware)

2) the fact that wifi A/N hardware is now out that costs almost nothing
and offers pretty close performance (notably the ubiquity M / Airmax
range)
