Hello,

Let's say I have MP1 ending with ip 136 and MP2 with ip 137. I turned off MP1. From MP2 I dialed 136, I would expect to get a busy tone instead the phone ring, ring, ring and ring forever. Would you please educate me the possible cause of this behavior? How could I fix this problem?

Now I powered MP1 and I could connect to it from another PC via ssh. From MP2 I dialed 136. MP1 never received the call until  I issued a "sip reload". Has anyone experiencing a similar behavior?

Enjoy,
--P

Get David to fix chan_mp :-) It's a (logged) bug in the channel driver,
it should wait for some sort of connection before playing ring back
tone. There are a few little issues we need to fix, and a bunch of new
work we would like to do.

Once I get a chance to set some priorities with Steve and Elektra I hope
to set about fixing some of these bugs.

Anyone else is also very welcome to work on the bugs.

Hi All,
Do we have a bug tracker, such as the bugzilla and the trac?
I would like to see a list of known bugs and issues. I ran a couple of tests last weekend and was able to identify some problems/bugs.

Like Pascal mentioned, one MP kept generating a 180 ringing instead of 100 trying, despite that it was out of range (i.e. could not contact the other MP). There was also a high pitch noise on one of the MPs, when I picked up its receiver.

The MP range seems short that I could not get two MPs in less than 100m apart connect to each other. I am thinking that I might need to position their antennas on the roof of each building.
I remember that Elektra and I did some range tests during the second workshop.

A list of known bugs and a bug tracker to file a bug would expedite the fixing of these bugs.

Regards,
Michael.
