Hi Antoine,

How is the afrimesh project coming along? Do you have a
roadmap/milestone for deployment? Hopefully in the next few days we
will be receiving the beta MPs. Would a semi working version of the
Afrimesh ready to test the MPs with?

Thanks,

afrimesh-potato is currently shipping with the MP firmware.

afrimesh-dashboard is feature complete for v1.0 release.

Some testing, polishing & writing of release notes still needs to happen before I'll have binaries I feel comfortable posting.

Until then, for the very brave there is always the sources & (sparse) documentation at:

http://code.google.com/p/afrimesh/

afrimesh-potato provides UI support to the MP hardware itself - basically:

MP configuration
Mesh Neighborhood Map

afrimesh-dashboard provides management functionality to the network as a whole - i.e.

Mesh Map
Mesh Health Monitoring
Mesh Equipment Management
Simple hotspot management + radius integration
etc.

afrimesh-potato is part of the VT dev cycle now so you should see a steady stream of developments tracking the conversation on the list as we find out what everyone really needs vs what we thought was needed. :-)

As for afrimesh-dashboard, as soon as the relentless spuds give me just a little break, I should have some binaries for everyone to play with early next year.

I'm not sure which version will be shipping on the Potato itself but Elektra will be releasing a steady stream of updates so getting a current version of afrimesh-potato on your MP should be as easy as updating the packages or reflashing with the latest firmware.
