Greetings to All,

 

North District SNP-Little Devil Stairs. Beginning at Little Devil Stairs, we will ascend to Keyser Run Fire Road at Fourway, cross the road to Pole Bridge Link and go south to Sugarloaf Trail and up to the AT, then follow the AT south to the Tuscarora Trail (Overall Run). We then turn right on the Tuscarora down (0.7 mile) to the Nature Trail/Elkwallow Trail towards Mathews Arm Campground.We join the AT again near edge of Elkwallow Wayside and head north on the AT to  Piney Ridge Trail. We go down Piney Ridge and Fork Mt. trails to Hull School Trail, then up Hull School Trail to Keyser Run Road and back to the cars.  Map of hike is attached. (PATC Map 9). Meet at 7 AM at Stone Rd. Park and Ride in Centreville, VA. Take I66 west to exit 52, then right onto Rt. 29, then second right into parking lot, then immediately left to corner of lot. Let me know if you want to meet at the Little Devil Stairs parking lot at 8:30 AM. From US 522/211 take SR 622 and 614 to Little Devil Stairs parking lot.
