The little Schloss Mountain Trail is closed due to fire so the hike for Tuesday has been changed to the following.

  Dickey Ridge Trail to Jenkins Gap Overlook and On. (PATC Map 9) Beginning in Front Royal just outside the Shenandoah National Park entrance take the Dickey Ridge Trail and the AT out to Jenkins Gap overlook. Return on the AT to US 522. Requires a short car shuttle. About 16 miles and 2800 feet ascent.  Meet at 8:30 at trail head, park on right side of road just before  park entrance. We will need to take a few cars over to RT 522. To carpool, meet  no later than 7 am at the Stone Rd. Park and Ride off  I-66 west, exit 52 Centerville. Go right onto Rt. 29 then second right into parking lot then immediately left to corner of lot where group gathers.
