Tuesday's hike will be an out and back on the AT (Map 8) starting at
Mannassas Gap and going north to the Signal Knob area. Total distance
will be about 16 miles.
To carpool, meet at 7 am at the Stone Rd Park and Ride. Take I66 west to
exit 52 then right onto Rt 29 then 2nd right into parking lot then
immediately left to corner of lot. Plan to be at the trail head at
8am. To get to the trailhead, take I66 west towards Front Royal. At
Exit 18 go west on VA 55 and turn north on Rt 725 and park at the small
parking lot. Let me know if you plan to meet at the trail head.
