About VDH licenses for Chrome

Prior to February 2021, Video DownloadHelper licenses for Chrome were purchased from the Chrome Webstore using Google pay payment services. Unfortunately, Google decided to end this service.

Customers who purchased a lifetime time license using Google pay keep having their license valid.

Customer subscriptions, monthly or yearly, are honoured but will stop being renewed.

Going Premium on Chrome is now managed as it has been for Firefox and Edge for a long time: the payment system is performed through Stripe and license statuses are managed from our servers.

However, only versions of Video DownloadHelper starting from 7.5.0.0 can register using this new licensing mechanism, so you may need to update the Video DownloadHelper extension from the Chrome Westore or if version 7.5.0.0 is not yet available, wait a few days.

Subscription-based Premium licenses are discontinued.

I can't download videos from Hotmart anymore, why? I'm premium and I already downloaded the chrome update, but even so it gives an error message, they ask for a key that I can't insert. Please help me.

I had to switch computers and now I have Version 7.6.0.0 installed - and it doesn't recognize my lifetime purchase I made back in 2020. How can I activate the license for my lifetime purchase on Chrome?

There is nothing within the email that  Video DownloadHelper 8.0.0.7 recognizes as a license key.

The transaction does appear within my Google Wallet.

How do I go about obtaining something the Chrome Extension will recognize as a valid license key?

Anybody who is in this situation can probably speed things up by sending an E-mail to
Jérôme at jcvdh56 @ gmail.com. Explain the situation to him. If you have it, attach
your Google invoice to the E-mail. That way you won't be exposing private information in
public. You will also not need to post on the forum about it.
