Fully warranty - must sell
$550 OBO.
Gee, such a deal! Meanwhile, back in the real world, Paradon
has a 366 Celeron-A and 8MB AGP video, sound, case, keyboard,
floppy and v.90 modem for $395. Hardly a "fire sale", but
someone very well could get burned.
.
.
Ever bought one?
1.Those unit's don't come with ram - check the price on a strip of
pc100sdram at least $100
2. If you know anything about CPU's you'll know that the 333 is a better
overclocker (if you were so inclined to do so) than the 366 (if it can even
be from what I read these days)
IN ADDITION: If you've EVER purchased a PC with ON BOARD Sound/Video + Modem
you'll probably know not to EVER do it again.
If you actually know what you're talking about - you'll realize the price is
within reason for the components at hand.
Thanks for comin' out!
Oh yah = Take into account another 14% when you buy that other system too -
there's a thing called "tax" that we all forget about when considering
"optional computer componenets"
$395 + 100 = $495 X 14% =$564.30
Sure - you could take into account the Modem/Sound/Video keyboard and
floppy - What? $50 maybe?
Gimme a break!
>Anyway, I'm not going to argue. I just don't think what you're
>selling is worth much more than $300 - assuming it's *new*.
>If it's used, it's worth half what you're asking for it.
>Good luck on finding some sucker to pay anything close to
>$550 for it. A "fire sale" price would be $250 or so.
$550 would be including the tax for a system far superior to the 366/MB
combo that paradon offers. Like I said - you should do a little research
before slamming - The price also said "OBO" so I was open to offers.
I'll tell you what.
You go and buy one of those systems - with the onboard video etc.
I'll take mine and add additional components so we're talking about the same
hardware (i'd have to add an AGP card to complete) We'll pull out winbench
and 1st see:
1. If you can actually overclock a 366a with that motherboard (which is
part of the purpose of this particular combonation of components)
2. If the system that is 366MHZ is actually faster than a 333 and how much
vs. overclocking capability.
This post was meant for people who know the value of a 333a + a good
motherboard - if you don't know - then you should do some reasearch and find
out.
Do you know what a Celeron 300a goes for? $120 In vancouver vs a $125 for a
366. Do you know why?
Probably not or we wouldn't be in this discussion.
I can only say - time and time again - If you don't know what you're talking
about, don't FLAME - I'm sure we've both got better things to do that to sit
around and chew the fat about who knows what about what and what's a good
deal and a bad deal.
End of discussion.

Fallacy; name: form of tu quoque. My purchases are irrelevent
to your high prices.
>1.Those unit's don't come with ram - check the price on a strip of

Sure, so your $550 comes to $450. For what, a case, a crappy cheap
CPU so outdated that many retailers don't even sell it anymore, and
some garbage MB? Yeah, right! Try half that.
>2. If you know anything about CPU's you'll know that the 333 is a better

Compare apples to apples, oranges to oranges, please. This is an
arguement about prices, not CPU performance. The 366 sells for
more. You're claiming the 333 is worth more for some reason? But
it sells for *less*. That's the issue.
>Gimme a break!
I don't think so; I'd rather give whoever would pay your
prices a break. PS, don't email me one day, and post it the
next. Chose your forum, and say whatever. There's a sucker
born every minute; good luck on finding one here. I'm not
posting to this thread anymore; you can have it.

You're posting my email? I don't believe it. What a creep; I'd
suggest no one buy a thing from you. I guess you post all customer
complaints, too, eh?
>End of discussion.
If you post my email again to a public forum where it is off-topic,
you risk having your account yanked.
Do *not* send me any more email. Do *not* post my email to this
forum, Sean.
Goodbye.
Stick to selling art and going to the church of scientology.
You sell art - I sell computers, stick to what YOU know, and I'll stick to
what I know. Your opinion means nothing to me and really - what account are
YOU going to yank from ME? What - you think the church is going to back you
on banning an internet user? You have to be kidding since you're not in the
state of "CLEAR" It would appear to me that you need to re-evaluate your
situtaion before I report you to the scientology police.
Next time you decide to make a comment on something - think twice.
I wouldnt' offer you $10 for that CRAP art you have on your website - the
picture my neice drew with her feet after she walked in dog CRAP looks
better and is far more valuable that any of that CRAP art upi have on your
site.
Stick this in your pipe and smoke it.
PS. Loose the beard - you look like AL off of tool time.
>Martin:

Wrong. Moron. While you're on about sticking to things, stick to
the topic and quit posting to this thread and apologize for posting
my email replies to you here. Ah, it's spring, and flames are in
the air! :-)
>You sell art - I sell computers, stick to what YOU know, and I'll
>stick to what I know.
Your price on that MB/chip/case was too high. $550 for that? Well,
we know what the chip, memory and case are worth, by your own
admissions, so the MB must be the $350 component! :-)
So, what is it you "know", how to rip people off?
>Your opinion means nothing to me and really
Then why have you responded so vehemently and precipitously with
several ranting emails, most of which I deleted unread, and then
posting my email to a public forum? You actions belie your words
of calmness. Me, I'm calm.
>- what account are YOU going to yank from ME?
Your provider probably warns you against doing assholery like
posting people's email to public forums - particularly public
forums that are *completely* off-topic. Read your TOS - before
you get TOS'ed.
>What - you think the church is going to back you on banning an
>internet user?
What church are you babbling about?
>You have to be kidding since you're not in the state of "CLEAR"
>It would appear to me that you need to re-evaluate your

LOL! You really are a splendid moron! :-)
Lo, these many years, I've searched and searched the net for
a moron such as you, an especially pompous, misinformed, and
ridiculous moron! No, I won't complain to your ISP for your
mistakes; morons like you should be treasured and carefully
preserved for the amusement of everyone during tiresome moments
in the everyday grind. :-)
>Next time you decide to make a comment on something - think twice.
Should I advice you to do the same thing about your ridiculous
statements about computer prices, Scientology, and god knows what
else?
>I wouldnt' offer you $10 for that CRAP art you have on your website - the

Ha ha ha ah ha! What are you, like 14?
>Stick this in your pipe and smoke it.
Heh heh; "get a life". You are a splendid moron! Revel in your time.
>PS. Loose the beard - you look like AL off of tool time.
Ha ha ha! You're a riot, Sean.
I take it all back; do your worst. I can hardly wait for your next
antic. Advice to everyone in general: don't buy anything from this
moron. :-)

That because people in this forum KNOW the value.
If you don't like the price - or don't agree with it - don't answer to it.
You're not doing anyone any favors since you're the moro who doesn't know
what he's talking about.
This guy IS part of the church of scientology or affiliated with it
somehow - he sells art on the internet - which in my opinion makes him an
expert in ART not computer equipment.
http://www.islandnet.com/~martinh/
AND
http://www.islandnet.com/~martinh/arscc.htm
Martin - You've got art to sell - I've got computer equipment - and FYI : It
sold for $500 - $100 less than I paid for it - depite all your flaming
responses and email.
If one day you actually know and realize what you're talking about - I'm
sure this thread will make sense to you.
And if you never answered any of my email - why do I have 3 or 4 replies
from you? Since they went unread how could you possibly respond to them?
You need to find something better to do - I have. Go play with your kid -
I'm sure he'd love to hear your complain about the world and all the "evil"
people out there trying to rip people off.
In regards to posting email off topic? Well - I've already CC'd this thread
to my ISP - Nothing in this thread was off topic - so you know what? BE MY
GUEST.
YOU can be reported for being off topic - since the ad said FOR SALE: and
you posted :BAD IDEA. That's off topic- mostly since YOU ARE NOT interested
in purchasing it - so anything besides a post stating : Would you take $500
is off topic so PISS OFF.
CYA - Not
I never looked at the pictures.
Martin - you THRIVE for debate - it looks like you really have nothing
better to do than to cause ruckus around the way - like I said - you are the
ONLY person here making a stink - so go make your stink somewhere else I'm
tired of smelling you CRAP around here - as I'm sure everyone else is.
Don't you have a church to close down or something?
>You notice Martin you're the only one complaining about the price?

Nice paintings, and reasonably priced too. Thanks for the link B&S.
Hagbard
I generally just laugh at the prices for junk posted here, if someone
is silly enough to pay it, that's their problem.

Thank you; I have several of her paintings in my home on display,
if anyone would like to view them. She's in France right now
preparing for a series of French landscapes, but I am authorized
to sell her paintings while she's gone.
