VexFlow API equivalent of VexTab 'options player=true'

Hi all

Is there a way of adding the music player buttons to a VexFlow score using the VexFlow API, in the same way that it can be done in VexTab using options player=true ?

The music player buttons are part of VexTab, so the only way to do this with the VexFlow API is to draw them yourself. :-/

Just to clarify, does that mean VexFlow does include the capability to play the entered notes as audio, and that I just need to add a means to trigger it?

No, VexFlow can't play audio. It's just a renderer.

A delayed response, but perhaps this will be of use.

If I recall correctly, I believe Mohit has a personal branch of VexTab that has the audio functionality (which is used on My VexFlow), but he has not made that public. He has mentioned that he may eventually open it up but that he's not happy with the code quality at this time.
