I just want to remind y'all (or if you are not aware) of the Mostly
Celtic group because there is a relationship to Open Mic stuff here in
the south bay. Most of you know Tony, he's done many a Very Open
Mics, and sessions is a great open mic like experience (the sitting
outside playing along with others while waiting for your turn
experience that is). Last week I learned how to play the mandolin,
well, I learned three chords, and it is pretty cool... and I met a guy
who actually knows Tompall Glaser songs (beside Put Another Log On the
Fire, that is)....so its not open mic, but it is open, and it is
jamming, and if your into celtic/folk tradition songs and weird celtic/
folk type instruments (like Tony;s guitar, juz kidding Tony) then come
by to the CB Hannigans on Tuesdays, or one of the others...sign up to
his email lis and tell hin eddie clay sent you.
