Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society is a nonprofit organization (actually zero profit), which advocates a compassionate and healthy vegetarian diet.  We wish to provide support to vegetarians by building a community for them and all those interested in the benefits of vegetarianism. We want to invite you to Raw Food Trucker Potluck.  The details of this event are below and the attachment has photos and even more details:

 

Raw Food Trucker Speaks At Vegan Potluck

 

Dave The Raw Food Trucker's National Tour will be stopping at the Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society's Potluck on April 7 at 3 PM.  In 2006, Dave Contrary, then a 430 pound and very ill SAD trucker, saved his life with the help of raw organic vegan food and help from David and Judith Whiting.  He redefined his life during the process of achieving a weight loss from 430 pounds down to 200 pounds.  He rid himself from stage 1 cancer, diabetes, acid reflux disease, heart disease, and other ailments as kidney problems.  He was able to wean himself off all but one of the 19 prescription medications he had been taking.  Let yourself be inspired by Dave’s amazing story of healing and transformation.  Also, there will be a Q&A with David Whiting, Bachelor of Naturopathy (New Zealand).   Everyone is invited who is interested in being healthy. For the potluck, bring a healthy vegan dish to share as well as a list of  the ingredients, recipe, and your name.  Vegan means no animal ingredients (zero honey, eggs, dairy, fish, and meat).  There will be 2 serving tables - one for raw food dishes and the other for conventional vegan dishes.   Please bring your place setting.  Reservations are necessary.  Cost is $15 per adult.  Children are free.  Suffield Senior Center, 145 Bridge Street, Suffield, CT, is the location for this event.  For more information and reservations, call Harry at (860) 623-8082 or email Harry at veggy...@aol.com or see www.northctveg.org.
