No, that is not a true statement. A wine can be vegan, and still contain <br> added sulfites. Please read the back of the label to determine if a wine <br> contains sulfites as it is required by law to be on the label. No. Most organic wines don't have added sulfites, but it is a naturally <br> occurring process. Not an animal product anyway.

Vegan red wines for me so far have been disastrous. I wouldn't recommend <br> 'Our Daily Red' - tastes like a cheap cooking wine... Supposidly the egg <br> whites used are trace, maybe it is worth taking a chance on non-vegan <br> wines.
