vConnect - Volunteer Connect / Virtual Connect / We Connect - call it what you may? The purpose of the group is to provide a forum for the various volunteer groups at Hyderabad to discuss and work together so as to be more effective. We have always found inter networking very powerful and thought there must be such a forum so that anybody new to Hyderabad could just come to one of the meetings and know about the various active groups at Bangalore and choose the one that appeals to him/her the most.

  The idea is pretty simple - anyone at Hyderabad wishes to volunteer but has no clue where to go? vConnect wud be a single point of contact where from (s)he can choose amongst various groups the one that appeals most to him/her and requiring least commuting! :) None of the participating groups are really concerned if their volunteers are finding working for an activity in another group more convenient as long as they are trying to do _something_ / _anything_!!! :)

Vconnect-Blr, is already running for almost a year now and has achieved its motive many times.So far VConnect-Blr has representatives from iVolunteer, Dream a Dream, Power of We, Individuals for Voluntary Activities (IVA), Chrysallis Volunteers, Friends of Children, Sankalp, Pankhudi Foundation, Mukta Foundation, Changers, Itihas, Sattva, CSR groups of Honeywell, Satyam, Delphi, Oracle, ILANTUS and so on. We want this list to become exhaustive. Kindly spread the word appropriately.
