Faxing Scanned in Docs

We have the outbound fax service in Aria. But it seems we are unable to fax any documents that were scanned into Aria. Is this true for everyone or do we not have a setting correct?

Hello,

The fax service can not send out items scanned into ARIA as a standalone PDF.  It is a known issue even in Aria 11 MR5.  I was told It is not considered a bug but the lack of a feature since PDF were just recently (version 11) acknowledged by ARIA.  I am sure it is an ARIA issue not the FAX server.  I have call into Varian to see if this is true for version 13.  

The only work around is to create a word document and import the image into the word document the fax the word document.

I thought about setting up a fax printer that is routed to the same fax server to see if that would bypass the software limitations but have not.
