Hi Daniel,

Sorry you didn't run into anyone today! There is often jugglers&Hoopers at the art gallery for Saturday circus - I think the last few weeks have been sparse because of various unusual workdays for some of the regulars. Normally it does run all year, though I'm not dedicated enough to make it out much in the winter.

Madskillz primarily does a yearly festival (we just recently did the 3rd one!). There are occasionally other events like fundraisers too. The Facebook page does get some general traffic just because its quite a large group of people now.

Sideshow does run a weekly drop in - but I don't have more details than is on the page.

I got an email confirming that the SideShow group is meeting regularly on Wednesdays ( their Facebook page didn't make this too clear ).

I've now found out that the Saturday meetup is called Saturday Circus and found the Facebook page.

I'll definitely be trying to make it out to these events!

I don't know who maintains the vanjug.org page, but it seems like it could be really helpful to people new to town or just getting interested in juggling if it was updated to have accurate dates/times and links to the appropriate Facebook pages.

I own the page. I just let the domain expire last week because I don't
update the site anymore and the saturday circus and sideshow people do
such a great job with things these days.

I stand corrected. It expires on Tuesday.  Is it still useful? Does someone want to take it over or maybe we could point it at a facebook URL or something?

Well, I would say that the reason it's useful is that it's the first thing that shows up when people google Vancouver juggling club. I'm guessing that nobody will want to take it over (though I may be wrong), but it might be nice for it to have the times listed for each weekly meetup (as it does already) and a fb URL pointing to Sideshow. Propjams are now Wednesdays 7pm-10pm. Also a fb URL for Saturday Circus. That is, of course, if I'm not too late in responding AND you want to keep it going, Luke!

I might make some minor changes in a bit but for now just want to get the links to FB pages for Sideshow and the Saturday Circus. Also are there any other meet-ups going on that should be on there that aren't already mentioned below.

Awesome! I suggest posting this message on both the Sideshow and Saturday Circus facebook pages also. You'll probably get more of a response and accurate detail there (not sure who exactly receives vanjug emails). I'm currently not in Van, so I'm a little out of the loop.
