Subject: Meetup for May

Hi,

Hot on the heels of Adrian's Cocoa tutorial/ workshop...

We have booked a room for our May meeting, thanks to the support of the good
folks at Wavefront (http://www.wavefrontac.com)

*The meeting will take place on 20 May 2009 between 18:30 and 20:00 in the
Guinness Tower Presentation Theatre (1055 Hastings Street)*

Please register at
http://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-iPhone-developers/calendar/10364318/

This is our last monthly meetup before the WWDC in San Francisco.

Have a look at the session and labs schedule and be ready to tell us what
you're most interested in finding out about. Hopefully some of our attendees
can bring back some knowledge tidbits for a June meeting

We will have presentations on the following topics:

Ed Povozan    Cocos2d a framework for building 2d games
Aaron Hilton   OpenGL ES the low-level API for graphics on the iPhone and
other devices

Thanks to Aaron and Ed for offering to discuss these topics.

We plan to allocate about 20 minutes for each session with about 10 minutes
for Q&A.

Hope to see you there

Cheers,
Steve
