It's not a retarded question. I have a Shadbolt painting, which
I bought off a dealer for $4,500 just after he put a $400 frame on it.
Talk to any painting dealer, and they'll tell you taking an ugly frame
off a
good painting, and putting a decent frame on it will instantly make it
more
sellable.

And as for Bateman photos ( sorry prints) being "worth", $2,000.
I guess beauty and value is in the eye of the beholder, but don't get me
started.

??? Seems like a perfectly normal question. Artwork either comes with
a frame or without one. Where the humour comes in is beyond me... sort
of like someone saying they have burnable CDs for sale, someone asks
"CD-R or CD-RW?" and someone else goes into hysterics... weird.
