2. The Van Wyck Girls Basketball team won their first game of the
season against Poughkeepsie Middle School. Our next game is Friday
against Carmel.
3. Reminder to the cast of "Fiddler on the Roof". All cast members
are expected to be at rehearsal today from 3 to 6 and Friday from 3 to

4. The library appreciates the avalanche of books being returned, but
even more effort is needed! Please continue to search for and return
all overdues!!
5. Wappingers Crew Club: Next WCC parent meeting is Wednesday,
January 13th, 6:30 p.m. at John Jay in room 128.
6. 8th Grade students wishing to attend the overnight Washington D.C.
field trip must have all paper work submitted before they can be
considered for the trip. Students that have made payments but have
failed to submit the proper documentation will not be permitted to
attend. The permission forms and medical authorization forms are due
immediately. All forms can be found on the Van Wyck J.H.S.web page.

7. Reminder to all 7th & 8th graders going on the Boston & DC trips:
The Yankee Candle fundraisers are due on January 13th. No orders will
be accepted after the 13th. We need to process the orders so that you
may get credit prior to your final payment being due. If there are any
