1. Band Concert on Tues 5/22 CORRECTION!
The Van Wyck 7th and 8th grade bands will be performing in a concert
this Tuesday evening at John Jay. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
The band students need to be in the band room no later than 6:30. As
always, this concert is free and open to the public. Contact Mr.
Weinrich or Mr. Brainerd if you have any questions.

2. The Board meeting for June 4th will be held at the District
Offices.

The Board meeting for June 18th will be held at RCK in the cafe. We
will be honoring our retirees at this meeting.

3. The Van Wyck PTA will be meeting tonight at 7pm in the Library. We
have important business to discuss regarding next year and need to
have a quorum. Please attend, all are welcome. Thanks!

4. I am a teacher over at John Jay High School and a John Jay
graduate of 2003. This past October a dear friend of mine Nicole
Pisani Frame passed away from complications during child birth as a
result of her fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Nicole attended Myers
Corners, Van Wyck, and was a 2002 graduate of John Jay. In order to
raise funds for the cause I am selling "Fighting to Cure Cystic
Fibrosis" keychains (style pictured below) to raise funds for the
Cystic Fibrosis foundation. If you would like to order one please let
me know.
