VWJHS Monday, Nov. 30th Day 4

1. Attention all "Celebrate Me Home" cast members! Today's rehearsal
time and location have been changed. Rehersal is from 6 to 9 pm at
VanWyck. Any questions, see Mrs. Muhammad.

2. Quarter one 8th grade music students of Mr. King: Please pick up
your old music binders in Mr. King's room if you left them behind.

3. School Store will be open on Tuesday during all lunch
periods....come shop for some holiday gifts for your friends and loved
ones.

4. Tomorrow is the last day for 8th graders to submit baby pictures
to be entered into the yearbook. Put your name on the back of the
photo and hand it in to your 1st period teacher. We will do our best
to have all photos returned.

5. The December PTA meeting will be Wednesday 12/2 at 7pm in the
Library. We will be distributing the final QSP fundraising orders
prior to the meeting at 6:30pm. This will be the final distribution.

6. As you know, the annual food drive is on its way ( November 30th -
December 12th)

All home rooms are asked to compete for a juice/bagel/donuts
breakfast. This is such a worthwhile cause during the Holiday
Season. We have a lot of Van Wyck families that are in need of our
help.

I am sure we all know someone who has been affected by our economic
situation. Just think next year this time, who knows whose name will
be on that list. Show your Van Wyck spirt and give a little, or what
you have. Everything is appreciated.
