LifeTouch will be here on November 20th for School Picture Retakes and
Make-ups. If you received your picture package and need to have them
retaken, you must bring in the entire packet on November 20th.
LifeTouch will be set up outside the cafeteria and you can have them
retaken during your lunch period. If you were absent on the original
picture day or have come to the school since September 23rd, please
contact the Main Office for a flyer/payment envelope and/or head to
the LifeTouch camera during your lunch period. All student need to
have their pictures taken by LifeTouch in order to be in the yearbook.
6th graders who eat lunch 8th period will have to come down before
early dismissal that day.

2.  6TH GRADE BASKETBALL INTRAMURALS WILL MEET TODAY IN THE GYM.

 *6TH GRADE GIRLS WEIGHT TRAINING WILL NOT MEET TODAY, BUT ON
THURSDAY.

3.  The Van Wyck Football Team beat Lagrange M.S. yesterday, 14-6,
ending their Season undefeated.  Great Job this year and your last
practice is today from 3-5.

4. HELP  WANTED

We are a small class with big hearts. Please consider donating baked
goods for our Paws and Claws Bake Sale. Donations gratefully accepted
Monday and Tuesday of next week. Bring
to Rm. 124.Thanks! The Students in Room 124.

5.  Attention 6th grade chorus - Any student interested in a group
solo part in the winter concert should signup for luch time auditions
outside the 6th grade music class.  The group solo is open to boys and
girls in 6th grade chorus.  Thanks.  Mrs. Morelli.

6.  On Nov. 11th there sill be a meeting for students interested in
joining the Wappingers Gymnastics Team.  The meeting will be at 5 pm
in the RC Ketcham gym lobby immediately followed by tryouts until 9
pm  You must have passed the selection classification test in order
to participate.

7.  Reminder....There is no school of Veterans Day, Wed. Nov. 11th.

9.  INTRAMURAL WEIGHT TRAINING FOR 6th GRADE GIRLS

On  Thursday, November 12 there will be an introductory meeting for
weight training.  This is an important meeting as I will be explaining
rules, expectations and some techniques.  Intramurals will begin on
Tuesday, November 17 and continue until the winter recess.  If we have
the numbers, there will be two different sessions. We will meet on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Because of the safety issue
involved you MUST be recommended to this program.  It is not for
everyone.
Please have the bottom part of this sheet signed by both your Phys.
Ed. Teacher and your parent or guardian.  You should turn this in to
Mrs. Langert as soon as possible as the numbers will be very limited.
