1. Winter Concert Part II - Thurs., Dec. 10th at 7:30 PM

This involves all 6th grade performing groups including 6th grade
band, 6th grade orchestra, 6th grade chorus, and jazz ensemble.

2. As you know, the annual food drive is on its way ( November 30th -
December 12th)
This is such a worthwhile cause during the Holiday Season. We have a
lot of Van Wyck families that are in need of our help.

I am sure we all know someone who has been affected by our economic
situation. Just think next year this time, who knows whose name will
be on that list. Show your Van Wyck spirit and give a little, or what
you have. Everything is appreciated. We will have drop boxes in the
main lobby if you'd like to bring in a non-perishable item. These
boxes will be there for both concert performances.

3. Attention 7th and 8th grade Band students involved in the Senior
Tea. Please be aware that it has been cancelled. You will not be
performing.

4. Attention to the Van Wyck Drama Family regarding today's
rehearsals. Mrs. Buergers is meeting with the main characters from
"Fiddler on the Roof" who are in "Sabbath Prayer," your vocal
rehearsal is from 3 to 4 pm with Mrs. Buergers. Mrs. Muhammad is
meeting with every character from "Celebrate Me Home." Your rehearsal
is from 3 to 6 PM. Any questions, please
see Mrs. Muhammad.

5. Come to the 7A bake sale today and Friday during all lunch
periods. Bring an appetite!

6. 6th grade chorus meets today in room 101 for our final rehearsal
before tonight's concert. Please arrive on time. Group soloist
should plan to arrive by 6:30 tonight to practice one more time before
tonight's concert.

7. Any girls volleyball member that did not see Miss Holzman, please
do so at your earliest convenience.
