Hi,
I'll ask it one more time, why do people press down the "B" buttons,
opposite the piece of masking tape asking people not to press them, on
the main console?

Was another training (with me) scheduled?

As the note says, please move the main mic by the metal, horse shoe
shaped bracket, not by grabbing the mic.

Fern mentioned that folks aren't doing transitions to/from automation
through the main console. If you aren't, please talk to her for
training.

Folks have noted CD1 is acting up. Please see my note on bulletin
board, "If you have trouble with CD player, please read." In
particular, "Ask the board to purchase new CD players."

There is another note about the RM3 not recording. Please ask the
board to purchase an alternative.

Hi Again,
Message posted before I was through - sorry.

Good news, Doug has fixed the board email, so now you can send your
requests, comments to them at:
bo...@valleyfreeradio.org

There was a note in the book about Winamp. Fern would like all to use
Itunes. She has posted instructions called "How to Air public service
announcements (PSA)".

Rock on!

Hi VFR, two things...

1]  Do you still have the old "Pay to Play" option for people who want air time but don't want to get all VFR-y?  [Don't worry, it's not me]

2]  I noticed what may be a mistake on the "new programmer" web page...

http://www.valleyfreeradio.org/programming/new-program-proposal/

Where it says "Timestamp" I think you meant to have it say "Name."  Take a look.

Thanks!  Eric

Is it possible that the person or persons pressing down the 'B' buttons is not on the list serve, or does not read the VFR emails, and was not at Michael's training and/or doesn't care?
Elliot

Actually Michael,   I could imagine that someone may be trying to correct the imbalance between the two vu meters. The left channel seems always to be lower. ???

Hi Michael: thanks for working on our equipment. Here are my thoughts
on your
questions and comments:
*don't know why people press B buttons, but I think Elliott may be on
to an answer.
*no further training has been scheduled, but we would like you to do
some more. Please
email board with some dates that work for you.
*CD1 should be replaced.
*The recorder should not be replaced. People should try the
following:
Do a test recording, and then hit the play button on the Ikey with
headphones on
attached to the Ikey---did it record? Duplicate the process for
actual. Also make sure there
is enough room on your thumb drive. Always delete an old MP3 before
loading a new one.
And last, do a backup recording off the stream onto your computer [at
home, at the station, or
in production studio]. If someone would like to donate the money for
a CD recording devise, I
am sure we could get it hooked up.
my personal thoughts---Bobgardner

1]  You guys got any pay to play slots?

2]  Is this the application form:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dEFJSmtUYm0xanQzWXViVF9qOTQ0YkE6MA

If not, what is the best way to apply?  Go to a programming meeting?

Thanks!

Eric

PS DON'T WORRY IT'S NOT FOR ME

Hi Eric: we still do Pay to Play, and the application can be accessed on website [I am guessing
that is where you found the link below.] It is currently working, from what I can see.

Just want to set the subject back to tech visit so if anyone later is
doing troubleshooting they can find this.
