Hi there,

A short while ago I saw this post on the Chromium Blog mentioning that the team was working on implementing the ECMAScript Harmony specification into Google Chrome. Needless to say, Harmony has a lot of great features and I was wondering where I could go to get updated on its progress. Is there somewhere I can find a development timeline?

Thanks!

No, there is no place where you could find a timeline for the Harmony features that are not implemented yet. As with most software engineering tasks, it's difficult to predict how long things will take. Also, for legal reasons, we try to avoid commenting on events that will take place in the future.

There are a number of bugs in our bug tracker that are tagged with "Harmony": http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/list?can=2&q=label%3Aharmony
But these do not claim to constitute a complete or accurate list of the remaining work, and they do not have planned completion dates. (Their status may also be out of date; the bug tracker is a development tool, not an official statement.)

Good to know - well in any case I eagerly await the implementation of Iterators and Array Comprehension :)

Great work! V8 is awesome.

Some people use this browser based data (http://kangax.github.com/es5-compat-table/).
