I am looking for recommendations for books that deal with best
practices in designing web forms and wizards. Considering Cooper's
About Face 3 as a possibility. Has anyone read it or would recommend
something else?

Seconded. For form design there's no better resource.

Not strictly about the web or forms, and a few years old, but I find
Jenifer Tidwell's book Designing Interfaces to be a good resource:

About Face 3 is a great interface design book when it comes to basic
concepts and best practices, and if your interest is broader than just
web forms, I recommend looking into it. However it won't give you
information targeted towards web forms; the Web Form Design book
recommended by others is a better source of information if you want
discussion applied to web forms specifically.

Swipe books at 401 Richmond carries it, or at least they did the last time I was there.

Glen, they do indeed ship to Canada, but their shipping rates are quite high and it takes quite a while to receive the book. They're working on improving their distribution in Canada, but in the meantime, definitely check out local stores if you can.

My wife picked up a copy of the book at Swipe. They have a few in
stock if anyone is interested.
