Hi,

Does anyone from the book club have a recommendation for a local (or easy to work with remote) software dev company who makes flash or silverlight computer based training?

I am seeking a low to moderate interactive computer based training module w/chapters and limited data point entries as a learning tool around a existing piece of software.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,  Michael Koch

Hi Michael -

I can help you with that. I run a small established UX/Dev shop in Denver, and I have clients all over the country(/world) that I work with remote.  I've created many Flash tools, concepts and prototypes over the years. Check this page out: http://www.richardprice.com/rp/index.php/flash-prototypes.

I would also ask whether you have considered alternatives to Flash?  (Silverlight is going away -- http://techcrunch.com/2010/10/30/rip-silverlight-on-the-web/) and Flash is losing market share like nobody's business in favor of HTML5 type solutions.  You can do some great things with it in terms of animation, visual design, interactivity, etc.  Of course the main driver for leaning this way is to be  Tablet & Mobile friendly.

At any rate, let me know if I can help.

Best -
