During the spring of 2011 the Mittag-Leffler Institute, situated in
Stockholm, Sweden will host a program called "Algebraic Geometry with
a view towards applications".
Experts in Enumerative and Computaional Algebraic Geometry will gather
in Stockholm to discuss and report on recent advances in the area.
The emphasis of the program is on the algebraic geometrical techniques
that recently have opened new diretions in other fields like Physics,
Statistics, Biology, Numerical Analysis.
Three workshops will take place during that semester:
- Jan. 10-14 at the CMA in Oslo
Algebraic Geometry in the sciences
- Feb. 21-25 at the CIAM, KTH in Stockholm
Solving polynomial equations
- June 6-10 at Stockholm University.
