[HPADM] MicroFocus Cobol licensing issues

Admins,

We are running MF Cobol on HP-UX 11.00 using the Flexlm license manager. My
question is: MF Cobol sets the LINGER to 3600, which means, after a user
compiles or uses a license the license daemon holds on to that license for 3600
seconds (1 hour). Can this be changed? I am sure there is reason for this, I
was just curious as to what it was. I created an options file with the
following line

LINGER hpmfcobol 120

to set the linger to 2 minutes, but doing a lmstat -a still displays the linger
to 3600, however the license.log displays 120 seconds.

Any input would be appreciated.
