Coding for Android

Brett Tofel will give a talk on how the other half live. Brett will show how Eclipse and the Android SDK come together to form a fairly robust solution for native code development in Java for Android. Follows the development of a local info app that scrapes local listserv, web sites and RSS feeds to consolidate local info. The talk will finish with a look at Codename One, a subscription service that uses remote builds and their own API to allow both iOS and Android development with a single code base.
