I would be really interested in exploring the parts of the API that enable
viral propagation of the app and other social features. I've noticed some
apps are well designed socially (news feeds, etc.) and others are not. What
API calls enable that the most and what are the best practices around
implementing them?

I'm up for anything. I haven't done any Facebook development, but
would be able to catch up if someone wants something more complex.
The new fbOpen initiative sounds like it could be interesting though.

Our Utah Social Media Developers Garages (UTSMDev) happen every second
Tuesday of every other month, and that is coming up one week from today. Our
next meeting will be on May 13th from 7pm to 10pm at the same place as last
time, Bungee Labs. We'll bring the Wii or Xbox in case there's time to play
afterwards.
