Greetings,

Due to recently discovered security holes, we've updated Java on our
departmental machines.

The (default) versions are as follows:
* Ubuntu Dapper Drake: 1.5.0_17
* Solaris: 1.5.0_17
* Ubuntu Hardy Heron: 1.6.0_11

If you need to access version 1.6.x from Dapper Drake, or version 1.5.x
>from Hardy Heron (or Solaris), they can be accessed directly via /lusr/opt:

* /lusr/opt/jdk1.5.0_17
* /lusr/opt/jdk1.6.0_11

These updates will be pushed around tonight by our nightly cron job.
