I'm forwarding an e-mail from the django-developers list about 1.0 sprints. They are looking for locations to host them.

I know that I'm not the only UUG member that takes an interest in django/python. It'd be fun to host a django 1.0 sprint on campus through the UUG.

Recently, django is the open source project I spend most of my free time contributing to. I am very pleased with it.

I guess my question is mostly directed at the Presidency: "Should we host a sprint?", but I figured I'd send it to the whole list to see if anyone had any thoughts/feelings about the idea.

Hi folks --

I'm setting up sprints leading up to the 1.0 release, and I need some
volunteers to host a couple of 'em.

So far, here's what we've got by way of sprinting:

July 10-12: EuroPython
July 18: Sausalito, CA
August 1: ?
August 8: Lawrence, KS
August 15: ?
August 22: ?

If someone  were to try to add a date for August 29, UTOSC would be happy to host one, free to the developers who worked on it.

Cheers,

Clint
