Hi

1. Actually I don't really scrutinise the works of security arrangement
like guard performance, the function of alternative gates and etc. As I
believe since we have entrusted the committee to take care and we should
leave it to them to make the decision.

2. I have almost forgotten that there are alternative gates here and there
during peak hours as I already get use to make use of the 2 main gate.

3. Is so happen that yesterday I by pass the gate at 11/4K and I observed
that it is wide opened and unguarded. Is it due to guard on leave during
Hari Raya?

4. Further, we also been informed Gate 3 at 11/4K will open for a trial
period for whatever reason.

5. Seriously, all this while I don't really follow the reason why
alternative gates is implemented. Perhaps is due to request by certain
residents.

6. I have posted earlier in the USJ114 blog and have stress that the
primary objective of G&G is for Security and is not for convinience. If
G&G scheme can afford to guard the alternative gate as the main gate by
all means get it open as many as possible. If can't whats the rationale of
having it open during peak hour. In my humble opinion, this is definitely
a threat to the secuirty system.

7. I also wish to suggest to tighten the security system by implementing
visitor pass system instead of just recording the car no. plate only.

Appreciate committee can revert on the aboves.

Thanks for your hard works, Cheers
ND 11/4M

Hi all,

I totally concurred with ND.

We have already getting used to the present arrangement and any changes
would create further confusion and more seriously fairness issues or
distribution of conveniences.

So long as we understand and agree that top on the agenda is good and tight
security everyone has to compromise to some degree.

I have a friend who stayed in USJ17 which has pretty good and tight security
arrangement(try yourself to go in there) and yet they have a case sometime
ago where a house was looted in the day time when no one was in. They
further tighten it now with security camera.

For the information of everyone, the committee has done much more than
others in our USJ11/4 and I would personally take my hat off especially to
the Chairman for organising the night patrolling (1.30 am to 6 am) during
the Hari Raya holiday till now before the new security firm take over. The
patrolling has averted several potential thefts especially on cars parked
outside and I can vouch for it as I was one of the volunteers participated
in the early morning patrolling. Please bear in mind that it is done
voluntarily for our USJ11/4 community without asking for anything in return.
I sincerely hope that the USJ11/4 residents appreciate the effort and
support it whole heartily.

For those of you who have not joined or contribute to the Fencing funds,
kindly do so for the sake of our 11/4 community.

Thank you.

Regards,

Vincent

I believe some replacement guard must have accidentally open this gate.

4. Further, we also been informed Gate 3 at 11/4K will open for a trial
period for whatever reason.

5. Seriously, all this while I don't really follow the reason why

Like I mentioned earlier the rationale for opening gate 3 at 4K is to ease off traffic flow to Gate 2 at 4C.

6. I have posted earlier in the USJ114 blog and have stress that the

Totally agreed with you that any gate opening must be guarded.

7. I also wish to suggest to tighten the security system by implementing
visitor pass system instead of just recording the car no. plate only.
WIll raise your suggestion in the committee meeting.

Hi,

With the change in guards' company to the one similar to USJ 11/3, I
hope to see better performing guards, compared to the previous
company. However, there're two concerns that I have with the current
arrangement.

1. The 4k entry/exit should be permanently closed, per last
arrangement. No doubt it is to help the flow at 4C, but maintaining
this gate open would mean 2 extra guards guarding this entry/exit. The
2 guards can be directed to do patrolling instead. Like the committee
mentioned, to have GnG means sacrificing conveniences.

2. Lights at the guard points. It is crucial that in order to help the
guards to perform better, floodlights are installed.

Cheers.

11/4M.

Dear All,

Here I would to stress again that we have to bear in mind the main objective
of G&G is for Security and is not for convinience.

Good day!

1. Totally agree with ND.

2. G&G is for total security and its bound to inconvenience some of
us. Thats why I opted not to vote the last time with regards to
alternative gates.

3. A word of thanks to the committee for their effort and work.

I am truly impressed by the guards. Today I was working late and I decided
to clear my rubbish at 4am. I opened the gate and walkout to rubbish bin. As
I was trying to dispose the rubbish, suddenly one of the guards rode his
bike closer to me to check on me. Realising I'm the owner and nothing seem
to be amiss he said hello and went on his patrol. I'm impressed!!

Well I don't know about you guys but I really felt safer now especially with
the guards and fence. I was out of my house at 4am but it really felt very
different.

I thank the committee for all their hard work that they have put into this
project.

Thank you all.

Dear Committee

Can't agree more with Winsern.  The guards are alot more professional & polite
compared to the old guards (younger too!!!).  Similarly too when I walked my
dog this morning at 6am, felt a lot safer too.

With the opening of 4H the traffic is now so much more well distributed.

Kudos to the team for the effort & a big Thank you.

Best Regards

Mrs Chew

I have read the many THANK YOU notes from appreciative residents to the committee for the recent visible improvements. I am sure the committee would feel re-energized to continue to carry the heavy responsibility.

Perhaps now, we can all start to assist the committee by asking your neighbors to join in to support the G&G project, both in spirit and in FINANCIAL support.

Most certainly if time permit for those who can spare the time to be in
the committee and very much in favour of this G&G.  In terms of financial,
you may like to let the community know from the collection and expenditure
how much is short and the purpose for the additonal fund and am sure for
some of us who wish to add to the fund.

Actually in my earlier mail I actually meant the opening of K has ease
the traffic flow.  I sincerely hope this stays open.
