Position: Sr. Java Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 months
Primary skills are JAVA, JSF & DOJO (Must Have). Liferay experience is a very big plus
Hands-on senior architect with specialization on the Presentation tier, and in particular experience with Liferay, and the standard web technologies. Concrete, provable experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dojo, and J2EE/JSF on the serverside. Must be hands-on and able to code. Will be working in Pershing's Presentation tier Architecture group, and in particular help with our Liferay strategy and deployment. Must be seen by application developers as an authority on these technologies. Strong inter-personal skills are a must. Must be able to carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
. Strong familiarity and knowledge of HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, AJAX and XML
2. Strong familiarity and knowledge of Web protocols and programming requirements
3. Strong familiarity with Java, J2EE, JSF.
4. Strong familiarity and knowledge of object oriented programming and software development principles.
5. Able to use both Windows and Linux developing environments
6. Excellent problem solving skills with proven experience in Architecture
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-presssure, high volume environment.
