By 'morrow

Hitherto humans

Now demigods

Would descend

From the high horses

And become humans again.

By 'morrow

Humans,

Humble,

Would ascend 

To the high horses

And become demigods.

Before ascending,

Each would mouth

"So help me God".

The mercenaries 

Would cheer,

The "holier than thou" 

Would jeer.
