What is more painful is that many of the treasury looters are still kept as honorables in "hallowed" chambers and still run government business in Abuja. And what's more, the loot are largely kept in the vaults of the countries that superintend over the rating of the ethically flawed nations of the world!
I am a political scientist, trained by western construct on the advantages of bicameral legislature, but I am unable to find a place in my mind to justify why a people so financially challenged will keep the number of Legislators in the nation's capital city at such a humongous cost. Nigerians must put sentiments aside and tackle those who stole our wealth and still move about freely, manipulating the conscience of people who are at the receiving end.
As Kerry puts it: "Corruption is an opportunity destroyer". They may permanently destroy the opportunity for Nigeria to be truly great.
