If he emerges as the victor in the next debate with Trump, he will probably have a better chance of winning the battle for the White House. If it’s true that Kamala could win if she were the Democrat candidate, then she could continue as his running mate with the understanding that one heartbeat away from the presidency, she would be taking over from her boss, if he can't complete the second term
